Day 4: World Changers 2019 – July 18, 2019

What a day…

It was hot and humid but progress was made. One of our teens said that his group, along with some of the other groups who finished their projects early, have almost completed painting the entire exterior wall of an outreach center in the town. Which is twice as much as they were asked to do! Our students have been learning lessons about their own prejudices toward others, their role in touching people’s lives for Christ, working together, boldness in talking to strangers, and being aware of the numerous opportunities for sharing the Gospel that we encounter everyday. And one learned to fight wasps!

We did have a crazy scenario where we had to recruit someone from home to come and drive the team back onS Saturday because I (Pastor Kris) am heading to my brother’s wedding in SE North Carolina and our other male leader had a medical issue that is going to prevent him from driving us home.

All in all, we had a great day and have had a great week so far.
